This Christmas thousands of kids are going to wake up to this under their tree… fast-forward 4 years and a 12 Year Old is going to be the new Timbaland.  You can pick one up at Amazon for $30 bucks.  (I would also appreciate if someone sent me one so I can place it next to my Fischer Price record player.)  Thanks in Advance.

The best thing I ever bought at a truck stop was a cassette tape of  Weezer’s Pinkerton.  I got the tape in 1997 at a Montana gas-n-go for a ridiculously low price and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite records.

Fast forward 12 years and Weezer is still putting out records. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to do an official remix for them, although having celebrated the band in my youth, I was also a little apprehensive to mess with them.  Nevertheless, I got cracking and took Rivers and Co. to a new land of opera singers, boys choirs, lush-synths, mean-synths, and drum machines.  Here is the result… hope you enjoy:
