My remix of Lady GaGa & Beyoncé’s “Telephone” has been released and is available today via iTunes. I’m so amped to be included on this Telephone Remix Album and share company with Kaskade, Passion Pit, Crookers, Alphabeat, DJ Dan, Electrolightz, Tom Nevillem, and Ming. You can grab my remix and more at iTunes.
Happy Mutha F**k’n Valentine’s Day! The good folks at The Huffington Post asked me to make a mix of some of my favorite “Love Songs” in celebration of V-Day. The result is 60 minutes of my favorite sexy-bedroom-jams of the past 3 decades [incuding music by: Prince, Tricky, Mazzy Starr, Aphex Twinn, LL Cool J, Radiohead and more]. If you download/listen to this mix and curl up in front of the fire with your special someone… I promise you will get laid.
My good friend and amazing photographer/videographer put this beautiful video together. It really makes me miss Montana. I contributed an instrumental track to it. Be sure to check out some of Athena’s other projects/work here.
Well it’s that time of year again…. instead of making a New Years resolution I would inevitably fail to keep, I decided to make a compilations of some of my favorite songs I got to remix in 2009. I also included a couple unreleased Rx’s as well (see tracklist below). Enjoy + I’ll see you in 2010!
This Christmas thousands of kids are going to wake up to this under their tree… fast-forward 4 years and a 12 Year Old is going to be the new Timbaland. You can pick one up at Amazon for $30 bucks. (I would also appreciate if someone sent me one so I can place it next to my Fischer Price record player.) Thanks in Advance.
The best thing I ever bought at a truck stop was a cassette tape of Weezer’s Pinkerton. I got the tape in 1997 at a Montana gas-n-go for a ridiculously low price and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite records.
Fast forward 12 years and Weezer is still putting out records. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to do an official remix for them, although having celebrated the band in my youth, I was also a little apprehensive to mess with them. Nevertheless, I got cracking and took Rivers and Co. to a new land of opera singers, boys choirs, lush-synths, mean-synths, and drum machines. Here is the result… hope you enjoy:
Here’s a new official Rx I did for Interscope featuring some of my all time favorite MCs:
Drake ft. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Eminem - FOREVER (DOCTOR ROSEN ROSEN Rx)
